Final Product Improvements:
On our final product we managed to correct our mistakes and make many improvements
This was our new attempt at pulling focus, we wanted to pull focus as the camera went on to Kirsty to help establish her character. With a lot of practice shots and research, our team and especially our camera were able to pull of the effect we wanted.
We had a phone close-up very similar to the shot in our preliminary task and it was much better, there was minimal shaking of the camera and the sound made from the phone can easily be heard. This was due to use visiting our location of recording numerous times before going there for our actual filming.
This shot had a great use of our surroundings as it shows two sides. The pole between Ali and my character gives a representation of a boundary between the two characters as if they are from two completely different sides of the spectrum, this can give an audience an idea of how the film would progress had it been a whole film
